Beberapa waktu lalu, kami pernah me-review Acer Aspire One seri 522. Kali ini, Acer berbaik hati mengirimkan Acer Aspire One seri 722 terbarunya. Seri ini sepertinya meng-update seri sebelumnya yang menggunakan layar 10″ dengan ukuran layar yang lebih besar (berukuran 11.6″) yang tentunya lebih nyaman, baik dari segi ukuran layar maupun resolusinya. Sepertinya, Acer ingin memperkuat jajaran Aspire One dengan kelas netbook. Dengan adanya Acer Aspire One 722, kelas netbook seperti mendapat “angin segar” karena memiliki layar yang lebih besar dan desain yang benar-benar baru.

Acer Aspire One 722 ditawarkan dengan empat pilihan warna: hitam, biru, merah, dan putih dengan finishing piano. Bagian penutup layar LCD mempunyai desain water drop yang menawan.

Masih hampir sama dengan sebelumnya, Acer Aspire One 722 menggunakan prosesor AMD Ontario C50 dengan kecepatan 1,0 GHz dan memory DDR3 sebesar 2 GB sebagai sumber tenaganya. Untuk urusan graphics, prosesor Ontario telah terintegrasi GPU Radeon 6250HD di dalam satu die dengan prosesor yang men-support DX11. Baterai tersebut cukup istimewa ketimbang baterai pada umumnya.

Sebenarnya, yang sangat menarik dari Acer Aspire One 722 ini adalah dimensi yang ditawarkannya. Netbook ini memiliki ketebalan yang tergolong tipis dan ringan walaupun memiliki layar berukuran 11.6″. Dengan ukuran layar sebesar itu, netbook Acer Aspire One 722 masih sangat nyaman digunakan untuk melakukan berbagai kegiatan dan tentunya tidak akan memberatkan penggunanya saat membawanya ke luar rumah. Namun, sayangnya, desain finishing piano di bagian penutup layar LCD sering meninggalkan jejak cap tangan sehingga Anda harus rajin membersihkan netbook ini dari bercak tangan supaya selalu terlihat bersih.
